強い英語は「速い」より安全。確認の型があると、聞き取りが半分でも仕事が回る。

聞き返し(失礼にならない)

  • Sorry—could you say that again?
  • Could you repeat the last part?
  • I didn’t catch the number/date.
  • Could you speak a little more slowly?
  • Can you spell that?
ポイント:何が聞けなかったかを言う(number/date/name)。

意味確認(wordの意味を潰す)

  • When you say “___,” do you mean ___?
  • Just to clarify, by “___” you mean ___, right?
  • What does “___” refer to here?
“understand?” より “do you mean ___?” が強い。

前提確認(assumptionを言語化)

  • Are we assuming ___?
  • If the assumption changes, the plan changes.
  • What’s the constraint?

要約(会議を支配する技術)

  • Let me summarize to make sure we’re aligned.
  • So the key points are: ___, ___, and ___.
  • If I understand correctly, the decision is ___.
要約は“確認”ではなく“コントロール”。

訂正(恥じゃない、プロ)

  • Sorry—let me correct that.
  • What I meant was ___.
  • To be precise, it’s ___.
  • Let me rephrase that.
訂正は信用を落とさない。むしろ上がる。

書面化(最後に勝つ)

  • I’ll send a quick recap with numbers and dates.
  • Let’s put that in writing.
  • Can you confirm by email?
