Business Vocabulary|

Let’s get started. / The goal today is ___. / We have 30 minutes.
整理Let me summarize. / Just to confirm, ___. / Are we aligned on ___?
決定So the decision is ___. / Let’s go with ___. / We’ll proceed with ___.
担当Who owns this? / Can you take this? / Let’s assign an owner.
期限What’s the due date? / Can we commit to Friday? / Let’s set a deadline.

  • on track / behind schedule / ahead of schedule
  • blocked / stuck / waiting on ___
  • dependency / constraint / assumption
  • risk / issue / mitigation
  • ETA / timeline / milestone
日本語の「課題」は英語で分解:risk(起きるかも)/ issue(もう起きた)/ blocker(進まない理由)。

  • Could you ___ by EOD?
  • Can you send me ___ by tomorrow?
  • Please confirm ___ by Friday.
  • If possible, could you prioritize ___?

Subjectの型
  • Action required: ___
  • Follow-up: ___
  • Decision needed: ___
  • Status update: ___
  • Thanks for your time today.
  • As discussed, ___.
  • To summarize, ___.
  • Please let me know if anything is off.
  • Appreciate your help on this.
  • specifically / in detail / at a high level
  • for now / going forward / as of today
  • at minimum / ideally / if needed
  • scope / deliverable / acceptance criteria

  • constraint / flexibility / non-negotiable
  • trade-off / in exchange for / on the condition that
  • meet halfway / revised proposal / counteroffer
  • terms / pricing / payment schedule
  • commit / guarantee / best effort

  1. Let me summarize what I heard…
  2. Just to confirm, the decision is ___, correct?
  3. Who owns the next step?
  4. What’s the due date?
  5. If we do A, can you commit to B?
  6. That won’t work for us because ___.
  7. I’ll send a quick recap in email.
